TestPoint Medical was founded in April, 2001. For six years prior, I had performed paramedical exams as an independent contractor, and in 2000 I was asked to manage ExamOne's corporate office in Kansas City. I focused on performing exceptional paramedical services, and consistently aimed for higher goals. In 2001, with only myself and a cell phone, I decided to stop aiming and start achieving, and TestPoint was born.
My goal was to expand our reach beyond the tri-state area and provide exceptional paramedical services both locally and throughout the nation. That goal was quickly surpassed, and TestPoint expanded into areas including wellness testing, DNA Paternity services, fingerprinting, and laboratory testing. I was joined a short time later by my wonderful staff, who are like family to me, and in 2005 I was awarded "Examiner of the Year" by Exam One. We are proud to call SD home, and have expanded to 4 offices now, including Sioux Falls, Watertown, Aberdeen, and Rapid City. Since my early days as an Infantry Combat Medic I have had one purpose in mind... clear results. That's what TestPoint stands for. It isn't work - it's just what we do.

Regional Manager
I graduated from Mitchell Technical Institute with and Associates degree as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. After working 6 years in a hospital/clinic setting my career started with Test Point Medical performing paramedical exams, drug screens and rolling fingerprints.
In May of 2009 I was given the opportunity to become Examining Manager, overseeing all of TestPoint's paramedical examiners, all while performing exams and helping to market the business. Forward to April of 2011, I was given another opportunity to assume the roll of Regional Manager. I currently oversee the Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Watertown, and Aberdeen offices along with examiners all across South Dakota, Southwest Minnesota, and Northeast Iowa. I have been with TestPoint for 6 years and take pride in what I do and strive to make the clients and agents pleased with TestPoint's performance in all areas of our business.
I don't think of my position as a job. I see everyone I come into contact with, whether clients or staff as my family. It makes my work so much more fulfilling.

Tara Engels
Account Executive
TestPoint Medical welcomes Tara Engels. Tara comes to us with over nine years of Sales experience. She recently joined our team in September of 2011 after being with ABF Freight System for the past six years.
Tara is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a BS in Early Childhood Education and Child and Family Studies. She also has an Elementary Education teaching certificate from Black Hills State. Though she knew she loved children, she found after graduation that her true passion is in sales.
Tara has lived just outside the Brookings community her whole life. She and her husband, Jason, have a one-year-old daughter, Jaya. Tara enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and running. Though the past year and a half, Tara admits the only thing she has been able to really accomplish is running after Jaya.
